Waltner, Lawrence Roy, 67, of Freeman, SD died June 11, 2018 at the same place. He was born January 4, 1951 at Yankton, SD to Rolland and Lucille (Schrag) Waltner. He is survived by two sisters, Ladonna Waltner and Carolyn (Bill) Beers.
Memorial services were held June 16, 2018 at Salem-Zion Mennonite Church, Freeman, SD with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

NEW PARIS - Lauren M. Warren, 26, of New Paris, died at 1:13 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018 at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas after a four month battle with Mesothelioma.
She was born Jan. 20, 1992 in South Bend to Michael and Cindie (Eckhart) Weldy. Lauren lived her lifetime in this area.
She was a 2010 graduate of Penn High School. In 2014 she graduated from IUSB with a Bachelors degree, with psychology as her minor.
Lauren was a member of the Holdeman Mennonite Church.
On Aug. 9, 2014 she married Jordan Warren in Nappanee.
Lauren was a receptionist for Dr. Minnich at Nappanee Family Eyecare. Lauren was a loving and devoted mother. She could light up a room with her contagious smile and will never be forgotten. She was just an amazing, all around person.
She is survived by her husband, Jordan Warren; daughter, Kendall Warren; parents, Michael and Cindie Weldy, Wakarusa; sister, Colleen Weldy, Wakarusa; maternal grandmother, Beverly Eckhart, South Bend, and paternal grandmother, Virginia Skiles, Wakarusa. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Don Eckhart and Harold Weldy.
Family and friends may call from 2 - 8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 15 at Union Center Church of the Brethren. Pastor B.J. Leichty, of Holdeman Mennonite Church, will officiate. Cremation will follow services.

Warren, Lauren M. Weldy, 26, of New Paris, Elkhart Co., IN died February 8, 2018 at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX from Mesothelioma.
She was born January 20, 1992 at South Bend, St. Joseph Co., IN to Michael and Cindie (Eckhart) Weldy. Michael was born July 21, 1958 and Cindie was born May 15, 1958. They both survive.
On August 9, 2014 at Nappanee, Elkhart Co., IN she was married to Jordan Warren, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kendall Warren, and a sister, Colleen Weldy.
Memorial services were held February 15, 2018 at Union Center Church of the Brethren, Nappanee, IN with cremation.
Weaver, Abram H., 93, of Ephrata, the husband of Elizabeth "Betty" M. Nolt Weaver, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018, at Fairmount Homes Inc.
He was born in Earl Township to the late Harry and Ada (Hoover) Weaver.
He was a member of New Haven Mennonite Church.
Abram attended market most of his life and liked interacting with people. He also enjoyed going to Philadelphia to pass out tracts with his church group and helping with church work.
In addition to his wife, Abram is survived by a daughter, Dolores, wife of Donald Newswanger; 4 sons, Clair, husband of Betsy (Stoltzfus) Weaver, Dale, husband of Brenda (Martin) Weaver, Glenn, husband of Kay (Ecenroad) Weaver, Clydeth, husband of Diane (Shreiner) Weaver; 12 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Anna Mary Nolt, Ruth, wife of Clarence Martin and a sister-in-law, Arlene Weaver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Weaver and a brother-in-law, Eli Nolt.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018, from 2 to 4 PM at the Wheat Ridge Chapel at Fairmont Homes, 333 Wheat Ridge Drive, Ephrata, PA 17522. Weaver, Ada Mae Bucher, 100, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on, March 19, 2018, at the Mennonite Home.
She was born in Manheim Twp. to the late Jonas Hess and Ada Mae (Peifer) Bucher and was the wife of the late Warren Weaver who passed away in 2014.
She was a member of Crossroads Community and was a lifetime member of Hess Mennonite Church.
Ada was a homemaker.
Ada is survived by a son, William Jay, husband of Alice Weaver; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Weaver; a brother, Melvin Bucher; 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Ronald W. Weaver, Theodore Lee Weaver; 2 brothers, Chester Bucher, Elam Bucher and a sister, Esther Hollinger.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018, from 10 to 11AM at the Crossroads Community Fellowship, 1060 E. Newport Road, Lititz, followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Kyle Buckwalter and Pastor Glen Sell officiating. Interment will take place in the Hess Mennonite Cemetery.

Weaver, Allen S., 84, formerly of 745 Weaver Rd., Morgantown, died Monday, October 29, 2018 at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Miriam E. (Mast) Weaver in 2006. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Daniel B. and Sadie R. (Kanagy) Weaver.
Allen had a passion and love for fruit growing, operating Weaver's Orchard, Inc. until retiring in 2003. In his retirement, he volunteered at the ReUzit Shoppe in Morgantown.
He was a member of Conestoga Mennonite Church where he had served as a Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher and youth leader. Additionally he was a member of the Berks County Fruit Growers Association, State Horticulture Association of PA and PA Farm Bureau.
From 1954-1956, he served his 1-W service in Columbus, OH. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, snowmobiling, hiking, flowers, and making family movies.
Surviving are three children: Patricia married to Kenneth Smith, Bridgewater, VA, Edgar married to Anne (Martin) Weaver, Morgantown, Linda married to Kenneth Renno, Morgantown, nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a brother Harold Weaver, Hamburg.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Parke Weaver in 2008 and a sister Gladys Weaver.
His funeral will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at Conestoga Mennonite Church, 2779 Main St., Morgantown with Pastor Bob Petersheim officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Saturday from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Twin Valley Food Pantry, Morgantown, PA or online, http://twinvalleyfoodpantry.org.

Weaver, Anna R. Martin, 75, of New Holland, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at home. She was born in Ephrata to the late Rufus G. and Bertha M. (Rissler) Martin and was the wife of David S. Weaver.
She was a member of Martindale Mennonite Church (Groffdale Conf.). Anna was a home maker.

Weaver, Annie W. Shirk, 93, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at the home of her daughter, Irene and Randal Sensenig, where she lived the last eleven years.
She was born in Earl Township on May 14, 1925 to the late Davis and Maggie (Wenger) Shirk and was the wife of the late John W. Weaver.
Annie was a member of Denver Mennonite Church.
She is survived by three sons, David Weaver of Elizabethtown, Ivan, husband of Rebecca (Weaver) Weaver of Elverson, Irvin, husband of Catherine (Wise) Weaver of Denver; eight daughters, Ella, wife of Kenneth Kreider of Elizabethtown, Anna Mary, wife of Fred Miller of Conestoga, Alta, wife of Robert Sensenig of Myerstown, Ruth, wife of the late Benjaman Shertzer of McAlisterville, Irene, wife of Randal Sensenig of Lebanon, Ada Mae, wife of Dale Miller of Montrose, CO, Arlene, wife of Gary Boll of Mt. Airy, MD, Esther, wife of Mervin Mellinger of Edinsburgh, IN; 59 grandchildren and 128 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Elizabeth Shirk.

Weaver, Annie Z. Hoover, 92, of Orrstown, departed this life on the evening of Friday, September 21, 2018, at her home.
She was born on October 7, 1925, in West Earl Twp., Lancaster Co., a daughter of the late Daniel and Anna Zimmerman Hoover. Annie married John D. Weaver in 1948. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1989.
Annie is survived by six sons, Isaac (Mildred) Weaver of Shippensburg, John Dan (Stella) Weaver of Orrstown, Noah Weaver of Newville, Luke (Vera) Weaver of Lewisburg, Ethan Weaver of Orrstown, and Alvin (Emma) Weaver of Barnett, MO; six daughters, Anna Weaver, with whom she lived, Lydia (Ammon) Zimmerman of Orrstown, MaryAnn (Mark) Nolt of Newville, Martha (Roy) Hoover of Hopkinsville, KY, Lovina (Elvin) Zimmerman of Spencer, TN, and Elsie (Elam) Shirk of Ephrata; one daughter-in-law, Edna Oberholtzer Weaver of Shippensburg; 82 grandchildren; 168 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Annie was also the last of her siblings to pass away.
Her funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m., on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at the Clearfield Mennonite Church (at the intersection of Shale and Clearfield Roads), Shippensburg. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Weaver, Benjamin S., 71, of East Earl, died on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Reading Hospital.
He was married 50 years to Ruth Ann Hoover Weaver. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Reuben B. and Annie Shirk Weaver.
Benjamin was the retired owner of the Maple Grove Garage. He was a member of the Bowmansville Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.
Surviving besides his wife are 6 sons, Edwin H. husband of Carolyn Sensenig Weaver of Loyal, WI, Ezra H. husband of Linda Martin Weaver of Romulus, NY, Eli H. husband of Naomi Martin Weaver of Loyal, WI, Eugene H. husband of Dorene Garman Weaver of Thorpe, WI, Elvin H. Weaver of Hanover, and Earl H. Weaver of East Earl; 3 daughters, Erma H. wife of Verlin Z. Shirk of Manheim, Eunice H. wife of Kevin Burkholder of Neillsville, WI, and Elaine H. wife of Nathan Weaver of Carlisle; 30 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Esther wife of Ervin Martin of East Earl; and a brother, Enos husband of Dorothy Fetters of Lewistown. He was preceded in death by a sister Mary Brubaker.

Weaver, Cora I. Kauffman, 92, of 2974 Church Road, Mifflinburg, went to be with the Lord at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
She was born Feb. 18, 1926, in, Richfield, a daughter of the late Oscar B. and Emma A. (Goodling) Kauffman. On Oct. 12, 1946, she married John William Weaver who preceded her in death on May 10, 2003.
She attended Buckwheat Valley schools. Cora was a homemaker.
She was a charter member of the Buffalo Valley Mennonite Church. Cora enjoyed quilting, cooking, spending time with family, and being of service to others.
Surviving are three daughters and spouses, Irene and Karl Schooley of Muncy, Charlotte and Walter Martin of International Falls, Minn., Evelyn and Joe Anchor of New Columbia; three sons and spouses, John and Joyce Weaver of McVeytown, Orville Weaver of Mechanicsburg, Glen and Tina Weaver of New Columbia; 30 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Mary Kauffman of Beavertow; three sisters and three brothers-in-law, Mary and Albert Heimbach of Selinsgrove, Charlotte and Oran Heimbach of Middleburg, and Evelyn and Clair Heimbach of Selinsgrove.
She was preceded in death by an infant son; two sisters, Orpha Kratzer and Nora Weaver; and one brother-in-law, Samuel Weaver.

Weaver, Earl F., 95, of 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital. In 2015, he was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Grace L. (Lefever) Weaver.
Born in Earl Twp., he was the son of the late Noah W. and Mabel (Martin) Weaver.
Earl was the retired owner of Weaver Memorials in New Holland and Reading.
He was a member of The Community Church at Garden Spot Village and for many years was a member of New Holland Mennonite Church, serving as a church and cemetery trustee and on the building committee. He enjoyed playing golf and pool and was an avid Scrabble player. He also volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Lighthouse Vocational Services and Garden Spot Village.
Surviving are five children: Grant married to Miranda (Montclar) Weaver, Buckley, WA; Violet married to Ken Kreider, Manheim; Steven Weaver, companion of Catherine Sourbeer, Lititz; Tom married to Lori (Prussner) Weaver, Lancaster; Lorene (Lori) Weaver, companion of Bill Potts, Lancaster; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a sister, Marian Nolt, New Holland.
He was preceded in death by a brother Lester Weaver and a sister Edna Bowman.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland, PA 17557 with Chaplain Chet Yoder officiating. Weaver, Edna Gingrich, 87, of Ephrata, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Lincoln Christian Home.
Born in Myerstown, she was the daughter of the late Jesse B. and Mary (Wenger) Gingrich. She was the wife of the late Wayne Weaver.
She was a member of Martindale Mennonite Church.
Edna worked alongside her husband in the office of Woodcorner Garage. In her earlier years, she enjoyed vacationing in Florida. She also enjoyed quilting and spending time with family.
Edna is survived by 2 sons, Nelson G., husband of Joy (Stahl) Weaver of Lititz, and Kenneth G., husband of Sherry (Fox) Weaver of Ephrata; 3 daughters, Grace L., wife of Donald Weaver of Spring Grove, Brenda G., wife of Dale Martin of Stevens, Joanne G., wife of Wilfred Martin of Ephrata; one brother, Jesse B. Gingrich of Myerstown; one sister, Mary Witmer of Reinholds; 22 grandchildren; 1 foster granddaughter and 48 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Sensenig; 4 sisters, Pauline Nolt, Gladys Burkholder, Alma Geist and Nancy Martin and one great-grandchild.

Weaver, Edna M. Weaver, 92, of Elizabethtown, went to her Eternal home on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on March 28, 1926 in New Holland, PA and was the daughter of the late Henry M. and Martha (Martin) Weaver.
Edna was a true "people person." She enjoyed cooking, going on mission trips, and for twenty-nine years she prayed every week at the PA State Capitol. She was always inviting people to be a part of the Weaver family from around the world.
In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by two grandsons, Timothy and Jonathan Maust and 11 siblings.
She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Rev. Luke M. Weaver Sr.; three sons, Rev. Melvin W. Weaver, Pastor of Grace Chapel, and his wife Rosemary of Elizabethtown, Earl W. Weaver and his wife Joy of TN, and Rev. Luke W. Weaver Jr. and his wife Bonnie of New Brunswick, Canada; two daughters, Irene W. Clark and her husband Dr. Grant of Elizabethtown and Martha W. Hale and her husband Phillip of Salem, OR; two sisters, Alta Hollinger of Lititz and Minerva Nolt of Talmadge; 21 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
A tribute to her life will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Grace Chapel, 2535 Colebrook Rd., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Viewing will be from 9:00 AM until the time of services Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Conewago Cemetery.

In addition to his parents, he is survived his 4 siblings, Joshua, Jr., Kathryn, LeeAlan and Martin; maternal grandparents, Aaron and Kathryn Newswanger and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Eunice Weaver.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Miriam Weaver.

He was born July 30, 1936, in Lancaster County, a son of the late Martin S. and Clara Dorothy (Stahl) Weaver. He was the husband of Grace S. (Martin) Weaver, who survives.
In addition to his wife, Eldon is survived by two sons, Ray Weaver husband of Elizabeth and Levi Weaver husband of Lena; 11 daughters, Marlene Weaver, Virginia Brubaker wife of Edwin, Lavonna Brubaker wife of Carl, Marcella Brubaker wife of Gary, Leona Weaver wife of David, Ruth Wenger wife of Carl, Annetta Brubaker wife of Kenneth, Romaine Weaver, Nancy Zimmerman wife Jesse, Joyce Martin wife of Loren, and Linda Brubaker wife of Curvin; 79 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Edward Weaver husband of June, Carl Weaver husband of Irene, John Weaver husband of Marie, Kathryn Martin wife of Mervin, Clara Aucker wife of Melvin, Joseph Weaver husband of Eunice, and Mahlon Weaver; a sister-in-law, Alice Mae Weaver; and many nieces and nephews.
Eldon was preceded in death by two sons, Luke Weaver and David Weaver; a grandson, Russell Martin; two brothers, Leon Weaver and Martin Weaver; and three sisters, Pauline Weaver, Dorothy Weaver, and Joyce Eleanore Weaver.
Friends and family are invited to the viewing from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the family home, 664 Old Trail Road, Port Trevorton. Funeral services will be at noon Friday at the family home with further services at 1 p.m. at Chapman Old Order Mennonite Church, Blackwoods Road, Port Trevorton.

Weaver, Enos Z., 80, of Martindale, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.
He was a member of Martindale Mennonite Church (Groffdale Conference).
Born on May 1, 1938, in West Earl Twp., he was the son of the late Harry O. and Mary R. (Zimmerman) Weaver.

Weaver, John J., 92, of New Holland, died Monday, October 15, 2018 at Garden Spot Village. His wife of 69 years, Rhoda L. (Hess) Weaver, survives. Born in New Holland, he was the son of the late Levi and Martha (Brackbill) Weaver.
John worked at the former Victor F. Weaver, Inc., the former Good's Furniture and then he and Rhoda owned and operated The Back Porch Gift Shop in New Holland. After moving to Garden Spot Village, he was a volunteer there for 20 years.
He was an active, life-long member of New Holland Mennonite Church.
Surviving is addition to his wife are four children: Patti married to Glen Hostetler, Scott Weaver married to Lynn Sommer, Pamela Cosco married to Dale Kaufman, and Wendi married to Keith Arnold; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by two sister, Elsie Hess and Blanche Sensenig.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland with Pastor Dawn Ranck-Hower officiating. Weaver, John Jacob, 92, of New Holland, Lancaster Co., PA died October 15, 2018 at the same place. He was born September 18, 1926 at New Holland to Levi and Martha (Brackbill) Weaver. On January 22, 1949 he was married to Rhoda Hess, who was born April 8, 1929 and survives.
Surviving are children, Patti Hostetler; Scott Weaver; Pamela Cosco; and Dale Kaufman; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Two sisters, Elsie Hess and Blanche Sensenig, preceded him in death.
John was an active, lifelong member of New Holland Mennonite Church.

Weaver, John L., 87, of Landis Homes and formerly of Mount Joy, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Landis Homes, Lititz. He was born December 14, 1930 to the late Mearl and Minerva (Garber) Weaver. He was married to Ruth Arlene (Longenecker) Weaver for over 61 years until her death on March 31, 2014.
Mr. Weaver was a member of Bossler Mennonite Church, Elizabethtown.

Weaver, John Wenger, age 89 years, 5 months and 28 days, died May 26 at the Maugansville Mennonite Home, Hagerstown, Maryland, where he was a resident for seven months. He was formerly from Lebanon County, PA where he lived with his daughter, Irene and Randal Sensenig for eleven years.
He was the husband of Annie Shirk Weaver. They were married December 21, 1948. He was born in West Earl Township on November 28, 1928 to the late David N. and Ada Wenger Weaver. John was a retired farmer from Bowmansville and a member of the Denver Mennonite Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, David, Elizabethtown, PA; Ivan, husband of Rebecca Weaver Weaver, Elverson, PA; Irvin, husband of Catherine Wise Weaver, Denver, PA; and eight daughters, Ella, wife of Kenneth Kreider, Elizabethtown, PA; Anna Mary, wife of Fred Miller, Conestoga, PA; Alta, wife of Robert Sensenig, Myerstown, PA; Ruth, wife of the late Benjamin Shertzer, McAlisterville, PA; Irene, wife of Randal Sensenig, Lebanon, PA; Ada Mae, wife of Dale Miller, Montrose, CO; Arlene, wife of Gary Boll, Mt. Airy, MD; Esther, wife of Mervn Mellinger, Edinsburg, IN; 59 grandchildren, and 123 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lydia Weaver, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Menno Weaver, and four sisters, Martha Stauffer, Mary Zimmerman, Ella Hoover and Lena Weaver.

Weaver, Lindrek Duane, 12, of Strasburg, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 30 as the result of an accidental drowning in Little Britain Twp. Born in Kinzers, he was the son of Linford and Lisa (Rohrer) Weaver. He had recently finished 6th grade and had attended Kirkwood Mennonite Church with his family.
In addition to his parents, Lindrek is survived by siblings: Jennalyn, Shaunda, Joella, Davin, and Takara all at home. Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, Leon and Mary Louise Rohrer and his paternal grandmother, Alice Weaver. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Martin Weaver.

Weaver, Lloyd W., 76, of New Holland, went to be with his Lord on August 20, 2018 after a lengthy illness at his home. Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Pauline (Nolt) Weaver.
Born in New Holland, he was the son of the late Frank and Edna (Weaver) Weaver.
Lloyd was a long distance truck driver for Jevic for many years. Most recently, he drove for Weaver's Toasted Grains.
He enjoyed hunting in his younger years and was a member of the Lone Bear Hunting Camp where he also served as the camp cook. Walking, reading and attending Gospel concerts were other activities he enjoyed.
He was a member of Weaverland Anabaptist Faith Community.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Calvin married to Marcia (Horst) Weaver, New Holland; Donna married to Cliff Snader, East Earl; Cheryl married to Kevin Sauder, Reinholds; nine grandchildren; two great-granddaughters and four siblings: Marian married to Robert Mellinger, Stevens, Henry married to Judy Weaver, Montoursville, Ray married to Joy (Martin) Weaver, Manheim, Sharon married to Warren Weaver, East Earl.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jenna Sauder.

Weaver, Lucy Oberholtzer, 64, of Newmanstown, PA, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 3, 2018. She was the wife of Lester Z. Weaver. She was born in South Lebanon Township, Lebanon County on December 26, 1953, a daughter of the late Norman K. and Emma Garman Oberholtzer.
Lucy was employed as an LPN for nine years with Landis Homes in Lititz and then became a mother and homemaker. She was a member of Fairhaven Mennonite Church in Myerstown. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed gardening.

Myerstown - Lydia N. Weaver, 98, of Myerstown, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Menno Weaver. She was born in Earl Township, Lancaster County, on February 3, 1920, daughter of the late Joseph R. and Lizzie Musselman Oberholtzer. Lydia was a member of the Mt. Zion Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference.
She is survived by children, Earl O. Weaver married to Emma H. of Myerstown, PA; Alma O. Weaver married to James M. of Myerstown, PA; Edith O. Andrews married to Howard of Newmanstown, PA; 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; brother, John Oberholtzer of Richland, PA.
She was preceded in death by a son, Leon Weaver; grandson, Curtis Weaver; 6 sisters and 3 brothers.

Weaver, Mabel E. Sauder, 102, of Ephrata, formerly of New Holland, died Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Fairmount Homes.
Born in East Earl, she was a daughter of the late Harry E. and Mary Catherine (Erb) Sauder. Her husband, Raymond H. Weaver, died Feb. 5, 2008. She was a member at Lichty's Mennonite Church.
Mabel was the second youngest child of 14 children living on a dairy farm below Lichty's Mennonite Church. She worked at Miller-Hess Shoe Factory in Akron before marriage. After marriage to Raymond Weaver, most of their life was spent farming near New Holland. Mabel is remembered by her gentle spirit and smile. Many of her visitors at Fairmount recount her excellent cooking and the meals she hosted. Quilts and sewing occupied her winter months. During the summer she grew food for the family and sold the extra produce and flower plants. In her fifties she worked at the New Holland Seafood Store. Family was very important to Mabel and they were always welcomed at their home. She loved God and the church and her life desire was to do right for God. For the past 10+ years she resided at Fairmount where again she was known for her gracious spirit and smile.
Surviving are six children, Wilmer, married to Theresa Weaver of Fredericksburg, Lamar, married to Carolyn Weaver of Lancaster, David Weaver of Lancaster, Earl, married to Marilyn Weaver of New Holland, Joyce, married to Alvin Stoner of Fredericksburg, and Janice, married to David Horning of Bowmansville; 20 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death is a son, R. Clair Weaver; a daughter-in-law, Anna May Weaver; a granddaughter, Kimberly Weaver; a great granddaughter, Alexa Van Steenvoort; and she is the last of her 13 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 22 at 10 am at Weaverland Anabaptist Faith Community, 210 Weaverland Valley Road, East Earl with Randy Bowman, Aaron Horst, and Les Stoner officiating. He is survived by one son, Larry, Womelsdorf, PA; six daughters: Janice, wife of Warren Martin, Montney, BC; Julia, Womelsdorf, PA; Debra, wife of Daniel Weaver, Lititz, PA; Kathleen, wife of Paul Siegrist, Wernersville, PA; Jolene, Womelsdorf, PA; and Lucinda, wife of John Siegrist, Sunbury, PA; 36 grandchildren, and 60 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Naomi Weaver, Esther Weaver, Anna Mae Weaver, Martha, wife of Raymond Hoover, Betty, wife of James Martin, all of Lititz, PA. TOPEKA - Mary E. Weaver, 91, of Topeka, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2018.
She was born on April 30, 1926, to Enos J. and Mattie (Yoder) Fry.
She married Jonas L. Weaver; he died Dec. 13, 2004.
Surviving are daughters Katie Schlabach, Ada Mae Graber, Sue Schwartz; sons Lee, Freeman, Delbert Weaver; 38 grandchildren; 216 great-grandchildren; 96 great-great grandchildren; and sister-in-law Wilma Miller.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, infant son and daughter Daniel and Vera Weaver; a grandson; two great-granddaughters; two sisters; three brothers.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 9, and all day Wednesday. Jan. 10, at the Lee Weaver residence, 0825 S. 700 W., Topeka. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, also at the Lee Weaver residence. Burial will be in Yoder Cemetery, Shipshewana.

Weaver, Noah B. "Junior", Jr., 65, of Manheim, peacefully went home to Jesus surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, May 10, 2018. He was the loving husband of Erma (Martin) Weaver, and they observed their 44th wedding anniversary in September of last year. Born in Ephrata, he is the son of Edna (Burkholder) Weaver of Manheim, and the late Noah B. Weaver. Junior was a truck driver for E.E. Shenk & Sons, Elizabethtown for nearly 50 years. He was a member of Rissers Mennonite Church, Elizabethtown. Junior enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, and family trips to Canada.
Surviving in addition to his wife, and mother, are four sons, Nevin L. married to Robin (Lapp), Manheim, Philip D. married to Jill (Koons), Marietta, Michael P. married to Emily (Sauder), Manheim, Duane A. married to Katrina (Hess) Manheim; 12 grandchildren Cade, Trent, Elli, Grady, Addis, Hannah, Noah, Olivia, Elijah, Logan, Kylie, and Alyssa; two brothers Lester married to Irene (Kurtz), Manheim, Linford married to Lynette (Zimmerman), Manheim, and four sisters Elaine married to Leonard Horning, Denver, Ruth Ann married to Phil Horst, Ephrata, Marie married to Mel Horst, Lititz, and Marion married to Norman Hahn, East Earl.

He was married 59 years to Mabel Z. Sensenig Weaver. Born in East Earl, he was the son of the late Harry and Mary Martin Weaver.
Raymond was a farmer and a member of the Centerville Mennonite Church. He had operated a roadside produce stand for many years.

Weaver, Reuben B., 95, of 137 Laurel Rd., East Earl, died Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie M. (Shirk) Weaver in 2007.
Born in Lancaster County, he was the son of the late Noah and Onea (Bare) Weaver.
Reuben was a self-employed carpenter during his working years and a member of Bowmansville Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.
Surviving are three children: Benjamin married to Ruth Ann Weaver, East Earl, Esther married to Ervin Martin, East Earl, Enos married to Dorothy Weaver, Lewistown; a son-in-law, Ivan Brubaker, East Earl; 23 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; and three siblings: Jason Weaver, Fleetwood, Eugene Weaver, Orrstown, Selestia Weaver, Elkton, KY.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Brubaker; his twin brother Rufus, and 11 other siblings: Harvey, Raymond, Milton, Myrtle Weaver, Lydia Heil, Mabel Hoover, Alma Sauder, Nancy Shirk, Esther Brubaker, and Margaret Weaver.

Born in Adamstown, he was the son of the late Edwin G. and Fannie (Good) Weber. He was married 54 years to the late Gladys (Sensenig) Weber.
George was retired from working at Weaver Markets and previously at Martin Limestone. He and Gladys were church planters at Oxford Circle, Philadelphia; Tamaqua; Grenada; and Shiloh, Reading. He was a retired minister at Martindale Mennonite Church.
George enjoyed singing, reading, gardening, and spending time with grandchildren.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann married to Richard Bower of New Holland and Lois married to Wesley Metzler of Peach Bottom; twelve grandchildren: Rodney Zeiset (Sheril), Diane Thompson (Jeremy), Wesley Zeiset, Darla Zeiset, Bradley Zeiset (Jennifer), David Zeiset, Melody Metzler, Marsha Metzler, Martina Metzler, Mary Beiler (Duane), Meleta Metzler and Mark Metzler; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Irene Horst; five half-siblings: Lillian Weber, Richard Weber (Barbara), Betsy Breckbill, Ruth Ann Hollinger (Lamar), and Dianne Reitz (Richard); one step-sister, Erla Beiler (Eugene).

MIDDLEBURY - Fanny F. Weirich, 88, of Middlebury, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2018.
She was born Sept. 28, 1930, to Harry M. and Barbara (Miller) Troyer.
She married Harley E. Weirich.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; four brothers, Howard, Jerry, Samuel, and infant Moses Troyer; and sisters Anna Mae Weaver and infant Mary Troyer.
Visitation will be from 2 - 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, Middlebury, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Nov. 3, at First Mennonite Church, Middlebury.

Wenger, Alta G., 63, of Akron, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Maple Farm Nursing Center after a 6 month illness.
She was born in New Holland to the late Menno M. and Anna H. (Gehman) Wenger.
Alta was a member of Lime Rock Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her siblings, Lena G. Wenger of Manheim, Martha G. Wenger of Morgantown, Isaac G., married to Louella (Martin) Wenger of Shermandale, Paul G. Wenger of Orrstown, Eli G., married to Luella (Zimmerman) Wenger of Manheim, Menno G., married to Alta (Kurtz) Wenger of Middleburg, Elsie G., married to Stephen Bauman of Manheim, Edith G., married to John Meadows of Lebanon, Anna G., married to Glen Weaver of Millmont, Alice G. Hostetter of NY, Irvin G., married to Anna Mae (Kuhns) Wenger of Three Springs, Ellen G., married to Carl Harter of Lititz; a brother-in-law, E. Clair Hostetter of Ephrata and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Freida G. Wenger who passed away in 1958.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2018, from 5 to 8 pm, at the Farm Crest Chapel, 1100 Farm Crest Drive, Ephrata. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at 9 am, at Farm Crest Chapel, with further services at 9:30 am, at Groffdale Mennonite Church, 90 Groffdale Church Road, Leola, with Bishop Melvin Martin officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.

ELKHART - Clifford H. Wenger, 97, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at his home.
He was born Sept. 21, 1920, to Menno and Ada Reed Wenger.
He married Lucile Pletcher on Dec. 27, 1941.
He is survived by his wife of 76 years; daughter Jane Sell (Robert Pierre); and sons Phil (Gloria) and Eric (Elizabeth); two granddaughters, Jenna and Kylie; and his “adopted” family, Marilyn (Doug) Rosenberg, Duane Wickey and Trudy (Riaz) Merchant and children.
Clifford’s parents, brother Devon and half-brother Russell preceded him in death.
Clifford was a dairyman and grain farmer.
He first had a herd of registered Guernseys, then later switched to Holsteins.
He sold his milking herd in 1985 when he turned 65, although he continued to raise heifers for several years because he said he needed some reason to go to the barn.
Clifford retired from farming in 2015 at the age of 95.
He and Lucile were named Elkhart County Ag Society Farm Family of the Year in 1972.
Clifford was appointed by the board of directors of the Farm Bureau Credit Union to serve as a volunteer on the credit committee in November 1990.
He served on the committee until 2003, an assignment he thoroughly enjoyed.
He was a member of the Yellow Creek Mennonite Church.
Visitation will be at the Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, Wakarusa, from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 10, and one hour before the funeral service, which will be at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, 64901 C.R. 11, at 2 p.m. Monday, June 11.
Burial will follow in Olive (West) Cemetery.

Wenger, David Alvin, Bronx, NY, was born on March 9, 1947, to Clayton Monroe and Mary Louetta Sieber Wenger in Akron, PA. He died peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on September 16, 2018, after a short, but intense struggle with mantle cell lymphoma.
On August 8, 1970, he was married to Ruth Naomi Yoder (June 3, 1949 in Meyersdale, PA), who survives. They had three children: Stefan David (October 12, 1977) married to Rachel Wynne, Sebastopol, CA; Kirsten Naomi (July 11, 1982) married to Marvin Cooper, Bronx, NY; and Marin Ruth (August 4, 1986) engaged to Brendan Lantz, Tallahassee, FL. Also in Dave and Ruth's care over a seven-year period were Paul Ramasco (March 8, 1976), who lives in Yuma, AZ, with his fianceé Carol Vasquez and her son Aaron (15); and Serena Perzov Heinrichs (born June 5, 1981) who lives in Belgrade, MT, with her husband Aubrin and their five children (Arianna, 13; Aaliyah, 11; Amber, 9; Reuben, 6; and Jaron, 3).
He had two grandsons, Nathaniel Lexington Cooper (January 10, 2016), Bronx; and Tadhgh Beacon Wenger (October 10, 2017), Sebastopol.
Dave is also survived by his two sisters, Cornelia Horst of Broadalbin, NY, and Grace Heck Merritt of Sierra Vista, AZ, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and several grand-nieces and -nephews.
Dave earned his high school diploma at Lancaster Mennonite School in 1965, a BA in psychology at Eastern Mennonite College in 1969, and an MA in sociology of religion at Northwestern University-Garrett Theological Seminary in 1972.
Dave and Ruth moved to NYC in 1971 for further graduate studies. They attended Seventh Avenue Mennonite Church in Harlem, where Dave played piano for the youth choir. Classically trained, he learned to play gospel music in order to embrace the musical style of the choir. In 1986, he and Ruth worked together with other lay leaders to start North Bronx Mennonite Church, which Ruth has been pastoring since 1995. A much-loved and highly respected leader in the congregation, he demonstrated a deep commitment to the Way of Jesus, to scripture study, and to peace and justice.
He served for many years on the board of Mennonite Central Committee East Coast. He was an early member of Bronx Action for Justice and Peace, a grassroots community group formed to promote positive response rather than bigotry and violence after 9/11.
In his professional life, Dave held various positions related to mental health. In 1978 he began working at the New York State Office of Mental Health, where he focused on policy writing and program analysis and evaluation. Along the way, he earned an MSW from Hunter College. He retired from OMH in 2014.
Dave was a big man with big hands and a big mind and a big laugh and an even bigger heart. A caring, gentle man, always eager for conversation, generous, hospitable, kind, and self-deprecating, he received in his last days the appreciation and gratitude of many persons whose lives he had touched, especially young men who needed a dad like him.
His farwell service was held September 22, 2018 in New York. Wenger, Eugene Eby, 77, of Harrisonburg, passed away Nov. 21, 2018, surrounded by family. He was born Oct. 1, 1941, to the late John Stoner and Marian Louella Eby Wenger in Lancaster, Pa.
Eugene enjoyed his radio program, Sunday Morning Gospel Time on WHBG every Sunday morning, traveling, sports, gardening and being involved with Weaver Mennonite Church, where he served many positions. He also enjoyed spending time with his three grandchildren. He served as a member of the Belmont Ruritan's Club, Harrisonburg Massanutten Rotary Club and the Va. Food Dealers. He began working as a paperboy for eight years during his childhood, and then moved to working in a grocery store at age 16. Later in life he served as the general manager at Red Front Supermarket where he worked over 30 years.
He attended the University of Tampa Florida, Eastern Mennonite College and graduated from Madison College in 1964 with a bachelor's in business administration. He later went on to attend graduate school at James Madison University where he received his master's in business education.
On June 18, 1966, he married the love of his life, Aldeen Grace Yoder from Parnell, Iowa. They welcomed their only child, Jennifer Michelle, into their family on Oct. 18, 1970.
Eugene leaves behind his wife, Aldeen Grace Yoder Wenger; a daughter, Jennifer Michelle Wright (James); three sisters, Lois Ann Handrich (Ken), Ruth Wenger (Judy) and Janet Marshman (Frank); and his three grandchildren, Jacob William Wright, Eli James Wright and Carrie Grace Wright.
The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at 3:30 p.m. at Weavers Mennonite Church. Burial will be private.
Wenger, Herbert C., 92, of Harrisonburg, VA died August 31, 2018 at the same place. He was born May 17, 1926 at Silverdale, PA to A. Martin and Martha Rock Wenger. He was married to Marian Elizabeth Smith, who died January 6, 2010, for 62 years.

Wenger, Ina Marie Rohrer, 84, a resident of Dayton, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018. Mrs. Wenger was born Sept. 30, 1933, in Rockingham County and was a daughter of the late Frank Israel and Annie Marie Knicely Rohrer.
She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant View Old Order Mennonite Church.
On Feb. 8, 1955, she married Dwight R. Wenger, who preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 2012.
Surviving are her children, David S. Wenger of Dayton, Dwight W. Wenger and wife, Frances, of Bridgewater, Frank I. Wenger of Bridgewater and Amy E. Rhodes and husband, Clyde, of Dayton; siblings, Esther Wenger, Paul Rohrer and wife, Esther, Mattie Wenger, Ivan Rohrer and wife, Elizabeth, Raymond Rohrer and wife, Mary, all of Dayton and Stanley Rohrer of Harrisonburg; sister-in-law, Martha Rohrer of Dayton; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Wenger, Mary Etta Shank, 76, a resident of Harrisonburg, went home to be with the Lord Jan. 9, 2018, at Sentara RMH Medical Center. Mrs. Wenger was born Oct. 27, 1941, in Rockingham County and was a daughter of the late Owen and Reba Knicely Shank.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Pleasant Mennonite Church.
On Sept. 14, 1961, she married Frank Gabriel Wenger, who preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 2016.
Surviving are four sons, Dennis E. Wenger and wife, Ann Marie, of Harrisonburg, Arnold L. Wenger and wife, Carol, of Harrisonburg, Eber F. Wenger and wife, Gloria, of Singers Glen and Wilson J. Wenger and wife, Lisa, of Mount Solon; her siblings, Harold Shank and wife, Wanda, of Bridgewater and Ethel Shank of Dayton; two sisters-in-law, Janet Shank of Dayton and Lois Shank of Dayton; and seven grandchildren, Dalton, Ciera, Brooklynn, Spencer, Antonia, Hayley and Dawson Wenger.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Gabriel Shank, Daniel Shank and Irene Shank.

Wenger, Norman W., 85, a resident of Fairmount Homes, was called home by his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 10, 2018.
He was married 65 years to Anna M. Sauder Wenger. Born in Rothsville, he was the son of the late Michael N. and Jennie Steffy Wenger.
Norman was self-employed in the trucking industry for many years. Following that he was a realtor for Kingsway Realty and Hostetter Realty. In his retirement he enjoyed working part-time at the former Blue Ball Bank.
He was a member of the Weaverland Anabaptist Faith Community. Norman served in 1-W Service at the Farnhurst State Hospital in Delaware. He enjoyed golfing, playing Black Rook, traveling and spending time with his family.
Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Gerald L. husband of Dolli Wenger of New Holland, Clifford R. husband of Carol Wenger of New Holland, and Scott N. husband of Charisse Wenger of Ephrata; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Michael W. husband of Mary Wenger of Ephrata, and Paul W. husband of Elsie Wenger of Akron; six sisters, Kathryn Ebersole of Ephrata, Bertha wife of Ben Brubaker of Manheim, Mary wife of John Becker of Akron, Edna Cramer of Lititz, Anna Reimer of Lancaster, and Marti wife of Robert Harnish of Manheim. Wenger, Roy “Gordon” Jr., 88, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, at Sentara RMH Medical Center. Mr. Wenger was born Sept. 3, 1929, in Bucks County, Pa., and was a son of the late Roy G. and Marian Rosenberger Wenger Sr.
He was a lifetime farmer, worked for Dairymen Specialty and the Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community, where he worked in transportation. He was a member of Zion Hill Mennonite Church.
On Dec. 4, 1952, he married the former Rhoda Showalter, who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Robert G. Wenger and wife, Lois, of Rockingham, Emily W. Vandevander and husband, Robert, of Euclid, Ohio, Samuel L. Wenger and wife, Esther, of Rockingham, and Roger E. Wenger and wife, Esther, of Middlebury, Ind.; brothers and sisters, Marie Kauffman of Harrisonburg, Esther McCoy and husband, Bill, of Manheim, Pa., Lois Rivera-Wenger of Staunton and J. Wenger, Samuel Adin, 84, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at his home. Mr. Wenger was born Nov. 26, 1934, in Dayton and was a son of the late Henry and Mary Frances (Rhodes) Wenger.
Adin was a farmer and a member of the Ridgeview Old Order Mennonite Church.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Ann (Good) Wenger.
In addition to his wife, Adin is survived by his children, Mary Heatwole and husband, Kenneth, of Rockingham, Lois Rohrer and husband, Jerrold, of Rockingham, James Wenger and wife, Melva, of Rockingham, Wayne Wenger and wife, Rachel, of Rockingham, Alice Wenger and husband, Olen, of Rockingham, Esther Wenger and husband, Gabe, of Dayton; siblings, Eva Wenger, Jason Wenger and wife, Naomi, Ray Wenger and wife, Ida, Henry Wenger Jr. and wife, Ferne, all of Dayton; 23 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Aaron Wenger and Dwight Wenger, and a grandson-in-law, Aaron Rohrer.
The funeral service will be held Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at Ridgeview Old Order Mennonite Church with the ministers of the church officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

TOPEKA - Ervin A. Whetstone, 91, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2018.
He was born April 5, 1927, in Nappanee, to Amos J. and Mattie Whetstone.
He married Edna E. Lehman; who survives, along with daughters Dena Miller, Anna M. Wengerd, Wilma Beechy, and Martha Miller; sons Amos Whetstone , Joe Whetstone and Mervin Whetstone; 36 grandchildren; 95 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister Anna Graber; brothers John H. Whetstone, Amos Whetstone Jr. and Dave Whetstone; and two sister in laws.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, a daughter- in-law, three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, two brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, and all day Thursday, Oct. 11, at the Joe Whetstone residence, 5925 S. 300 W., Topeka.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at the same residence.
Burial will be in Miller Cemetery, LaGrange.
Whetzel, Don Elmer, 75, of New Market, Va., died Dec. 11, 2018, at his residence. He was born Oct. 26, 1943, and was a son of the late David E. and Pearlie Sonifrank Whetzel.
Don was a carpenter. He was a member of Bethel Mennonite Church and attended Woods Chapel.
On Sept. 6, 1962, he married the former Rachel Stroop, who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Anita Housden of Timberville; one son, Don E. Whetzel Jr. of Harrisonburg; two grandchildren, Tim Housden and wife, Jessica, and Jenny Housden; and two great-grandchildren, Harper and Oliver.
Seven brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Pastors Brian Bridges and Glen Turner will conduct a funeral service 1 p.m. Saturday at the Grandle Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway. Burial will be at Bethel Mennonite Church Cemetery near Broadway.

Wideman, Florence Martin, 96, of St. Jacobs, ON died August 20, 2018 at Elmira, Waterloo County, Ontario. She was born June 13, 1922 to Annanias and Susanna (Steckle) Martin. On June 21, 1947 at St. Jacobs, Waterloo County, Ontario she was married to Aaron Wideman, who was born October 6, 1906 and died May 13, 1978.
Surviving are children, Elaine (Alvin) Hersberger, Beulah (Dr. Mel) Gerber, Elroy (Ruby) Wideman, Reta (Rudy) Derksen, Eva (Norm) Woodard, Cliff Wideman, Maynard (Sue) Wideman, Stewart (Diane) Wideman, and Marilyn Wideman; 26 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, many, many great-great-grandchildren, and siblings, Viola Wallace, Dr. Ellen Moyer, Laura Shantz, and Abner (Shirley) Martin.
A daughter, Alice Martin, two grandsons, Christopher Wideman, and Rodney Martin, and siblings, Vernon Martin, Nelson Martin, Lloyd Martin, and Almeda Martin preceded her in death.

Widrick, Robert Nelson, 87, of Lowville, NY died December 8, 2018 at the same place from complications of a back injury and old age. He was born February 21, 1931 at Croghan, Lewis Co., NY to Jonas and Lucille (Powers) Widrick. On November 23, 1950 at Lowville he was married to Muriel Ruth Roggie, who was born February 6, 1932 and survives.
Surviving are children, Sharon and Glenn Curry; Dale and Debbie Widrick; Keith and Colleen Widrick; and Brenda and Stephen Malone; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; sister and husband, Jeanette and James Spencer; brother-in-law, John Grau; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Widrick.
A grandson, Jon M. Widrick; and his siblings, Mona (Donald) Christman; Alice Grau; Walter Widrick; and Margaret Widrick (infant); preceded him in death.
He was a member of Lowville Mennonite Church, Beaver Camp, and volunteered for several years with Mennonite Disaster Service

Wilkins, Donna Elizabeth Peirce, 54, of Sellersville, PA died October 14, 2018. She was born November 26, 1963 at Abington, PA to Joshua and Kay (Riniker) Peirce. On May 25, 1991 she was married to H. Jeffrey Wilkins, who was born February 11, 1962 and survives.
Surviving are her parents; children, Samuel, Eva, Eliza and Isaac Wilkins; and three sisters, Lisa Peirce; Kimberly Keller and her husband Bill; and Melissa Baitinger and her husband Eric.
Memorial services were held November 10, 2018 at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church, Blooming Glen, PA with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Wine, Miriam E. Horst Witmer, 90, formerly of Hellam and Lebanon, died on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the Lincoln Christian Home, Ephrata. She was the wife of the late Norman F. Wine, who died in 2014. Her first husband, the late Roy E. Witmer, died in 1999.
Born August 21, 1927, in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Eli S. and Elizabeth (Oberholtzer) Horst. She was a member of Miners Village Mennonite Church, Cornwall.
She is survived by a son; James Witmer, of Lebanon; daughters; Patricia (Luke) Shertzer, of Thompsontown, and Jane (Dale) Metzler, of Lewisburg; 5 step-children; Stanley (Esther) Wine, Robert (Shirlene) Wine and Norman Jay Wine, all of Lebanon, Marie (Levi) Mumma, of Manheim and Deborah (Aaron) Hudler, of McAlisterville; a step-daughter-in-law; Marlene Wine, of Lititz; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 28 step-grandchildren; 94 step-great-grandchildren and 7 step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, brother, grandson, step-son and several step-grandchildren.

Wingard, Velda Jean Yoder

SHPSHEWANA - Velda Jean Wingard, 56, of Shipshewana, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018.
She was born Jan. 4, 1962, to Harley J. and Katie (Slabach) Yoder.
She married David E. Wingard, he survives.
Survivors also are her mother, Katie Yoder; daughters Marla Renae Schwartz, Myra Elaine Hochstetler and Kaylene Ann Wingard; sons Lamar Dean, Loren Jay, Gary Lynn, Karl Ray and Dennis Lee Wingard; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Lee and Dewayne Ray Yoder; sisters Karen Sue Miller, Marilyn Kay Miller and Linda Lou Troyer.
She was preceded in death by her father, grandson Lyndon Jay Schwartz and sister, Ida Fern Yoder.
Visitation will be after all day Friday, Jan. 19, at the Devon Chupp residence, 950 N. Taylor Drive, Shipshewana.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, also at the Devon Chupp residence.
Burial will be in East Barren Cemetery, Shipshewana.

Witmer, Amos Henry, 84, of Mount Crawford, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at his residence.
Mr. Witmer was born on July 25, 1933, in Rockingham County and was a son of the late Merle Martin and Annie Catherine (Rhodes) Witmer. Amos was a poultry farmer and was a member of the Pike Mennonite Church.
On Oct. 22, 1958, he married the former Wilda Grace Knicely, who survives.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Witmer is survived by his children, Emily Witmer of Mount Crawford, Betty Kinsinger of Waynesboro, Michael Witmer of Mount Crawford, Janice Orebaugh and husband, Everette, of Mount Sidney, Clyde Witmer and wife, Lorraine, of Monterey, and Kathy Rau and husband, Brian, of Weyers Cave; one brother, Jacob Witmer and wife, Emma, of New Holland, Pa; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by seven siblings, Walter Witmer, Daniel Witmer, Elsie Nason, Martha Lehman, Harry Witmer, an infant brother, and Carl Witmer.
The ministers of Pike Mennonite Church will conduct the funeral on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5 to 8 at the Pike Mennonite Church.

Witmer, Maxine Isabele Landis

ORRVILLE - Maxine Isabele Witmer, age 88, of Orrville, died Monday, August 6, 2018, at her residence in Orrville, following a period of declining health.
Maxine was born on May 5, 1930, in Orrville, to Harry and Mary (Lehman) Landis and graduated from Orrville High School in 1948 as co-valedictorian. She married Daniel Adam Witmer on June 10, 1951, in Dalton. Daniel survives.
She worked at the JM Smucker Company until starting a family and was an active member of the Chestnut Ridge Mennonite Church. She enjoyed being involved fulltime with an extensive family her entire life and delivering Meals on Wheels with her husband for the past twenty years.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are ten children, Janice (Ron) Geiser of Dalton, Daryl Witmer of Green, Donna (Paul) Souder of Harrisonburg, VA, Robert (Waunita) Witmer of Orrville, Ron (Michelle) Witmer of Smithville, James (Ronni) Witmer of Troy, Carol (Paul) Swartz of Botkins, Kathy (Conrad) Detweiler of Dalton, Jerry (Tiffany) Witmer of Dalton, and Brian (Sarah) Witmer of Port Republic, VA; thirty-two grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and brother, Ross (Vesta) Landis of Orrville.
She was preceded in death by both parents; two childhood siblings, Brooks and Eileen; and son-in-law LaVon Kratzer.
Memorial services will be held at Kidron Mennonite Church, 3987 Kidron Road, Dalton, on Sunday, August, 12th, at 3:00 pm, with Pastor Marvin Zuercher officiating. A private burial will take place at Martins Mennonite Cemetery in Orrville prior to the service.
Friends may call on Saturday at Kidron Mennonite Church, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Witmer, Nyla Grace Ebersole
July 13, 1930 - August 6, 2018
Nyla Grace Ebersole Witmer, 88, of Brethren Village, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Silver Spring, she was the daughter of the late Christian S. and Susan (Shenk) Ebersole. Nyla was the wife of Harold K. Witmer.
Nyla graduated from Lancaster Mennonite High School. She worked for the Farm Bureau before becoming a farm wife, raising four sons. She enjoyed arts and crafts, especially ceramics.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Harold, are four sons, Veryl Witmer of New York City, Lamar Witmer of San Francisco, Jeffrey Witmer, husband of Dawn of Manheim and Rodney Witmer, husband of Wendy Hoke Witmer of Landisville; three grandchildren, Abigail Witmer, Kammi Witmer and Reyna Trujillo; four honorary grandchildren, Jacob, Erin, Issac and Silas Buckwalter; five great grandchildren; a brother, David Ebersole, husband of Mary Ann of Manheim; and Miriam Charles of Lancaster.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Ebersole and a sister, Ethel Metzler.
A memorial service honoring Nyla's life will be held at Mount Joy Mennonite Church, 320 Musser Road, Mount Joy on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11 AM. Family and friends will be received at the church before the service from 10 AM to 11 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mennonite Central Committee.
Witmer, Warren K., 89, of Brethren Village, Lititz and formerly of Landisville went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle, Lititz. Born in Lititz, he was the son of the late Wayne and Mary Keller Witmer. He was the loving husband of Marion E. Groff Witmer and they would have celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary in December.
A lifetime farmer, Warren owned and operated his farm in East Hempfield Township. He was an active and faithful member of East Petersburg Mennonite Church where he served as an usher and trustee. Warren volunteered at the Mount Joy Gift & Thrift and Choice Books, Manheim.
Warren loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Darrel husband of Natalie Hostetter Witmer of Landisville, Marilyn Sangrey of Mount Joy and Jerry husband of Daphne Myers Witmer of Landisville, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three siblings, Harold husband of Nyla Witmer of Lititz, Helen wife of Melvin Eby and Mary Ann wife of David Ebersole both of Manheim. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Dennis Sangrey and two brothers, Marvin and Kenneth Witmer.

GLENFIELD – Lowaine A. “Wink” Woolschlager, 85, passed away early, Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Lewis County General Hospital.
Calling hours will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc. A prayer service with Military Honors will be at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the funeral Home, with a funeral service to be held at First Mennonite Church, New Bremen at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018 with Pastor Ed Steckly officiating. Burial will be at First Mennonite Church Cemetery. Contributions may be made to First Mennonite Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 65 years, Dorothy; his 3 children, Sandra Jean Woolschlager of Glenfield, Scott Lowaine (Christina) Woolschlager of Glenfield, and Suzette Joy (Fred) Cole of Glenfield; 3 grandchildren, Lucy (Garrett) Austin, Emily Cole, and Megan (Derek) Weber, 2 great grandsons, Caleb Earl Austin and Mason Lowaine Weber; a brother and sister-in-law, Elwin and Mary Woolschlager of Lowville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is predeceased by a brother Calson Royce Woolschlager, who died at age 2.
Wink was born on February 15, 1933 in the Town of New Bremen, NY, a son of the late Arthur W. and Lucy Virkler Woolschlager. He graduated from Lowville Academy in 1951 and worked on the family farm. On June 24, 1953 he married Dorothy M. Lehman at Evangelical United Brethren Church in Beaver Falls, NY with Rev. Norman D, officiating. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served from 1953 to 1957 during the Korean War. After his service, he worked at the block mill in Croghan, V.S. Virkler for 2 years, and Lowville Farmer’s Co-op until taking over his parent’s farm in 1962. He owned and operated his parent’s farm for a number of years before selling the farm, and going to work for Carl Zehr for carpentry work. He then drove bus for Lowville, and then Copenhagen for 17 ½ years, retiring in 1995.
Wink was a member of the First Mennonite Church, New Bremen. He was a life member of Lewis County Memorial Post #6912, a member of Lowville American Legion #162, a life member of Lowville Fish and Game, and a member of BPOE #1605, Lowville Elks Lodge. He enjoyed bowling since bowling came to Lowville, and bowled on a league for AMF. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snow sledding, and four wheeling.
Wyse, Martha Lee, 80, of Archbold, Fulton Co., OH died February 22, 2018 at the same place. She was born July 30, 1937 at West Unity, Williams Co., OH to Daniel B. and Marjory (Werder) Wyse.
Surviving is a sister, Carol (Paul) Stuckey.
A brother, Roger Wyse; and two sisters, Marilyn (Gerald) Short; and Marlene (Lowell) Beck preceded her in death.
Memorial services were held February 25, 2018 at Fairlawn Haven Chapel, Archbold, OH.

Surviving are children, Samuel (June) Wyse; David (Karen) Wyse; Audrey (Rob) Fricke; and Chris (Christy) Wyse; ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.

Patricia A. Wyse, age 88 years, of Archbold, passed away Saturday morning, January 6, 2018, at CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice. She was born October 3, 1929, at Archbold, the daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth (Short) Short. She married Charles J. Wyse on October 3, 1948, and he preceded her in death on August 24, 2017. A lifelong resident of the Archbold area, she was a homemaker, and a volunteer at the Fulton County Health Center, Care & Share and at Fairlawn Haven. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and was a member of the Lockport Mennonite Church, rural Stryker.
She is survived by four children, Samuel (June) Wyse of Austin, MN, David (Karen) Wyse of Pettisville, Audrey (Rob) Fricke of Archbold, and Chris (Christy) Wyse of College Grove, TN; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a granddaughter; and a brother, Rollin Short.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 13, at 10:30 AM at the Lockport Mennonite Church with Pastors Steven Heatwole and Matthew Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in the Lockport Cemetery. Friends may call at Lockport Church from 4 – 8 PM on Friday. Short Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with the arrangements. The family suggests that memorials be given to CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice.
